Camp Muskingum

Located in Carroll County, Ohio, on the banks of Leesville Lake, Camp Muskingum has been offering unique outdoor experiences since 1942. The lake, hillside and forests offer prime opportunities for aquatic and nature studies. We also offer fishing, hiking, boating, swimming and both low and high ropes courses, along with a lazer tag course.

Facilities:

  • 4 Dorms- Each dorm can house 64-107 campers with private sections for chaperons, private showers, and restrooms.
  • Discovery Center- Large auditorium, stage, drop screen and projector, sound system, multiple rooms for smaller group meetings
  • Indoor/Outdoor Pavilion
  • Dining Hall

COVID-19

We will be submitting to any regulations and/or requirements that are required from the Governor of Ohio for Camp Muskingum. We will do what we can to assure everyone uses wisdom and that we have safety measures in place. There is a release form for Camp Muskingum that can be signed by parents and adults from the Ohio Health Department. Parents also need to fill out a health form.

Registration

The cost this year will be $250 each. This fee includes housing, food, t-shirt, activities, and speaker fees. Once you have filled out your registration, please give it to your leader along with payment to be sent to Damascus Friends Church in Damascus, OH.

**Note for Leaders:

This year there is limited bed space available at Camp Muskingum. We are asking groups to pre-register to fill every bed available. If we reach our capacity then we will contact you regarding alternate local accommodations.

Hello, my name is Justin Hendershott. I am the Youth Pastor at Damascus Friends Church in Damascus, OH. I have been in ministry for over twenty three years and this will be my seventh year of directing Friends Youth United. It is truly the highlight of the year for me and my students.
